Instant Pot Coca-Cola Brisket Sliders take the stress out of tailgating parties and gatherings. Topped with tender brisket, a zesty Coca-Cola® BBQ Sauce, and coleslaw, they’re guaranteed to be your favorite game-day crowd-pleasers!
When fall rolls around, I’m super conflicted. Fall means shorter days and here it means cold weather and, eventually, dumping snow. But one thing that gets me through is knowing tons of gatherings with friends and family are just around the corner. I’m talking get-togethers like home-gating and tailgating parties where the food is just as important as the games themselves. While cheering their teams on and (shouting at) watching the screen, guests can munch on delicious snacks and stay refreshed with icy-cold beverages like a tall glass of Coca-Cola®. And where better to stock up on all your game-day essentials than Walmart? It’s my go-to hub for sports entertaining—it has everything I need! I like to use their online grocery pickup service because it’s so easy and convenient for a busy mom like me. I just search for what I need on the site, add my items to my cart, place my order, and pull into a pick-up spot at my local Walmart. Best part? They bring it to my car for free, which saves me money, time, and stress on game day!

I can serve ice-cold, frosty cans for my guests to enjoy AND use it to make these cute-as-a-button (and incredibly delicious) Instant Pot Coca-Cola Brisket Sliders. They’re quick, they’re easy, and they feature the best BBQ sauce ever to pass your lips.
Let me show you how to whip these up. First, grab your ingredients. Chances are, you already have many in your pantry.
Then, if needed, cut your brisket into smaller pieces that will fit in your Instant Pot.
Set your Instant Pot to Saute and add the canola oil. Once it’s hot, add a piece of your beef. Saute it for about 2 minutes, then flip it to brown it on the other side. Repeat this with every piece.
While you’re browning the brisket, combine all of your BBQ sauce ingredients in a medium bowl.
Add all of the pieces of your brisket to your Instant Pot and pour your BBQ sauce over them.
Close the lid to the Instant Pot and set it to Pressure Cooking for 1 hour. When it’s finished cooking, let the pressure naturally release for 15 minutes. After the 15 minutes, you can manually release the remaining pressure (be careful, because it will be hot!). Remove the brisket pieces and cut them into strips or shred them.
Set the Instant Pot to Saute for 10 minutes. Allow the BBQ sauce to simmer for 6-10 minutes, stirring frequently, until thickened. Make sure to stir it often, like every 30 seconds or so.
Add the shredded beef/beef strips back into the sauce and toss to fully incorporate.
Pile the deliciously saucy brisket onto your slider buns, top it with some coleslaw (if desired), and serve this MVP up with a can of refreshing Coca-Cola® for a real game-day winner!

- 1-2 Tbsp canola oil
- 1 3-4-lb. beef brisket (flat cut), cut to fit into Instant Pot, if needed
- 2 cups Coca-Cola®
- 2 cups ketchup
- 2 Tbsp minced onion
- 4 tsp minced garlic
- 4 tsp liquid smoke
- 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 Tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tsp apple cider vinegar
- Prepared coleslaw (optional)
- Slider buns
- Set Instant Pot to Saute for 15 minutes. Add canola oil. When oil is hot, add one piece of brisket. Saute for 2 minutes, then flip to brown. Remove from Instant Pot and repeat with additional pieces of brisket.
- Meanwhile, to make the BBQ sauce, combine Coca-Cola®, ketchup, minced onion, garlic, liquid smoke, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, and apple cider vinegar in a medium bowl.
- Place all pieces of brisket into Instant Pot. Pour Coca-Cola® BBQ sauce over brisket.
- Secure Instant Pot lid and set to Pressure Cook on high for 1 hour.
- Once brisket is done cooking, allow pressure to naturally release for 15 minutes. Then carefully flip pressure switch to Venting.
- Once pressure is completely released, open Instant Pot lid and remove brisket with tongs. Place pieces on a cutting board and shred with 2 forks or slice into strips.
- Set Instant Pot to Saute for 10 minutes. Allow sauce to simmer for 6-10 minutes or until thickened, stirring frequently.
- Add brisket pieces back into Instant Pot and toss in sauce to fully coat.
- To serve, top each slider roll with brisket and prepared coleslaw (if desired). Enjoy!
