Buffalo Chicken Potstickers are filled with a cheesy chicken and hot sauce mixture, complete with carrots, celery and green onions. They’re spicy and incredibly amazing appetizers that’ll be the star player on your game day grub table!
When you think of game day grub, what’s the first thing that comes to mind? Buffalo wings are likely at the top of the list. That’s right–the spicy, finger-licking, dressing-dipping wings are a must for any tailgating table. Something about the spiciness of the wings offset with the cool blue cheese or ranch dressing makes your taste buds do a little happy dance.
So I decided to take that game day mainstay and kick it up a notch with these Buffalo Chicken Potstickers. And man oh man. They are SO GOOD. I mean, so good that I’m putting them on my menu for my next tailgating party. Let me tell you just how incredible these Buffalo Chicken Potstickers are. First, they’re stuffed with all these goodies: shredded chicken, hot sauce, cream cheese, shredded cheese, green onions, carrots, and celery. I mean, WHOA. All that in these bite-sized bits of bliss. And it’s all stuffed in a crispy/chewy Twin Dragon Gyoza Wrapper.
I love Twin Dragon’s wrappers because they’re high-quality and sturdy. As you lovingly fold your goodies in, you don’t have to worry about them tearing. They’re also vegan, GMO-free, and contain 100% natural ingredients. Boom!
Are you ready to learn how to make these Buffalo Chicken Potstickers and make your contribution the MVP of any game day party? Let me show you how.
First, gather all your ingredients.
Throw everything but the wrappers in a bowl.
Mix them all up until they’re combined, like this.
Put about 2 tsp of the mixture on a gyoza wrapper.
Dip your finger in a bowl of water and moisten the perimeter of the wrapper, then pinch the sides together and place the potsticker on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
Continue that until you’ve used up all the wrappers.
Put about 2 Tbsp canola in a large skillet and heat it over medium-high. Once it’s hot enough CAREFULLY place the potstickers, seam side up, into the pan. Cook them for about 2 minutes or until nice and golden brown on the bottom.
Then, be VERY CAREFUL and add 1/3 cup water to the pan and cover it with a lid. Steam the potstickers for 2 more minutes, uncover, and place each potsticker on a paper towel-lined cookie sheet.
Continue until the potstickers are all cooked, adding oil as necessary and using another 1/3 cup water with each batch. Then, serve them with blue cheese or ranch dressing for dipping and enjoy!
